This Little Piggie Loves to Fly

I finally made up my Little Piggie today for a Cloth Doll Artistry Challenge.  I wanted to create a doll that Zoe would love made up but also could be created in the primitive style too. Can't wait to sit down and write this pattern up. She turned out so cute. Her body is made from pink soft flannel (expect for her legs & snout which are made from 100% cotton.) She is wearing a tutu styled skirt created from lace. In this picture she is wearing a set of feather Angel wings. I have also drawn up a set of fabric wings which would be perfect if you were making it up for a child. Everything is hand stitched...no buttons or anything that would be harmful to a child. One of the nice things about this gal is she is cute even if she is nekked.

Well this Momma Piggie needs to fly off to bed so I can get up in the morning and start writing some new patterns.

Sneak Peak of Fancy Egg Doll...

Got a Challenge tossed to us from one of our groups on Cloth Doll Artistry and it is to create an Egg as in Humpty Dumpty kinda but make him/her all fancy like one of those jeweled eggs sold all over Europe. So I am working on mine this week, and she has bendable arms and legs (a first for me). Here is a little sneak peek... have not decided on her face yet ..Shweet Potato style or more Art Doll style????

Seems these dolls never end up like they start out in my head at all.... Wonder if she will end up wearing the lace next to her too? Well off to bed so this momma can work on her in the morning.
